The actor, after featuring in several hit Bollywood films, is now excited to be associated with this new 'exciting occasion'. Talking about his love for cricket, he said, 'Cricket is the game we all live for. Growing up in the '90s, we live the game. This is an exciting opportunity for me.” Talking about becoming a host, he said, “My live commentary will definitely be from the heart as I will be speaking to the audience as a fellow cricket lover.”
Significantly, Varun has become famous in the last few years after appearing in films like 'Chhichhore', 'Fukrey Returns', and 'Roohi'. He got recognition with the film 'Fukrey'. He said- 'It is not a role and there will be no script, so the number of jokes there will be on the spot. This will be the first time that people will get a glimpse of how I am in my drawing-room on match day. I am very excited to do this and can't wait for it to start.
